True Grit is a 2010 American revisionist Western film directed by and starring Clint Eastwood. The screenplay is adapted from the 1876 short story “The True Story of Jesse James” written by Charles W. W. Norton, which in turn was based on the 1869 novel The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain.
The true grit (1969 full movie) is a 1969 American western film directed by George Roy Hill. It tells the story of U.S. Army Captain John Grady who, after being left for dead during the Civil War, returns to his home in Texas and becomes embroiled in the local feud between cattle barons and farmers over water rights.
Mattie Ross, a 14-year-old adolescent, is the protagonist of this tale. Her father was brutally killed by someone who had been paid to carry out this job. Tom Chaney was the guy that was employed. Tom was on his way to Fort Smith to buy horses for the first time.

While on her way to get her father’s remains, the young girl requests that the Sheriff in command of the area do some short searches for the killer. The killer had already left after fulfilling his objective, according to reports, and the girl had been notified of this. Tom had gone out of the Sheriff’s area with a group of other individuals.
As a result, he was unable to assist the little girl in locating the guy who had murdered her father. The young girl, however, does not stop there; she also asks about appointing a Deputy Marshall. Matties chooses the meanest of the three, Rooster Cogburn, from the options presented to her. This guy first rejects her, but he has reservations about her intelligence and money.
Another guy comes in pursuit of Chaney, and he’s the one responsible for the assassination of a Texas senator. LaBoeuf is this guy, and he agrees to join hands with Cogburn. Mattie, on the other hand, will not allow this to happen. Instead, she wants Chaney to pay for her father’s death and the senator’s death. Cogburn, on the other hand, gets rid of her, joins forces with LaBoeuf, and agrees to divide the money owed to them for this reason.
However, owing to unforeseen circumstances, Cogburn and LaBoeuf break off, and Mattie travels to Cogburn to finish the job. Unfortunately, they run across two outlaws, and Cogburn attempts to learn more about Ned, Chaney’s companion. But he refuses, and Cogburn injures him, forcing him to reveal all he knows about Ned. And it succeeds because he tells them that they would be able to meet them that night.

Things take a sudden turn when they encounter LaBoeuf again instead of Chaney, and Cogburn accidentally shoots LaBoeuf. Cogburn gives up on this case after much effort, but Mattie meets Chaney. Mattie is the one who shoots Chaney after a lot of follow-up, but she is bitten by a rattlesnake herself. Cogburn arrives to save her and remains with her until she is no longer in danger.
Cogburn resolves to contact Mattie twenty-five years later to invite her to his performance. However, when she got at the location, she discovered that Cogburn had died three days before to her arrival. As a result, she arranges for the corpse to be buried among the graves of her deceased relatives. She stands there, staring at his dead corpse, remembering how they had been through so much together, and now he’s gone.
This film had a rocky start, but it will leave the viewer believing that all will come together in the end. And it’s safe to say that wasn’t the conclusion they were hoping for.
